a short city
orientation tour en route to the
Hotel Herodion

Athen's
most ideally located
hotel
being
in the heart of the old city
district
just a few minutes walk from the
Acropolis,
the atmospheric
back streets of the Plaka, the
Herodes Atticus ancient theater
and
the new
museum of the
Acropolis.

where we will visit the 5th century
Temple of Poseidon
which is one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world. Dinner will be at a

American Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Morning - Drive through Athens and see the most attractive places of the Ancient City
(Temple of Olympian
Zeus,
Hadrian's Arch,
Theatre of
Dionyssus,
Temple of
Hephaistus,
Ancient
Agora) and the modern city
(Tomb of the Unknown
Soldier,
House of
Parliament,
Presidential
Palace,
Panathenaic Stadium -where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896.
Lunch in a local restaurant. Finally, visit of the
Acropolis, the
museum of
Acropolis, and the architectural masterpieces of the
Erechteum
Temple, the
Propylae, the
Temple of Athen and the
Herod Atticus
Theatre, which for four months every summer attracts the world's best musicians, dance troupes, and theatre groups. Evening -
Pasta dinner in the
hotel

preparation
for
Athens
Classic
Marathon
tomorrow.
