The Children at the Orphanage

"Thank you again, Brother, and as to the question that you asked, the children receive one meal per day since we do not have enough food for two. For the year 2006 we have four bags of maize, three bags of beans, and five bags of rice, which I believe with last for two months." I Remain Sincerely Yours, Francis Ouma Ooko  

Picture Taken Summer of 2005: Here is a picture of the children taken during the summer of 2005. There are 63 in the photo and include a few of the staff at the upper left and the upper right in the photo. 

Photo Taken January 2006: The most recent photo of the school and the children. Please notice their new uniforms. The girls have blue dresses with white blouses and the boys have white shirts and blue trousers. They are so proud of their new uniforms. The uniforms may seem "expensive" but they are the least expensive way we can clothe the children.
