Aconquija
mountain

height
of
about
2000
meters.

called

the
holy
valley
of

Tour along Quebrada de Humahuaca, visiting Purmamarca - typical village from where will be able to admire a fabulous and colorful landscape: Cerro de los Siete Colores (Seven Colours Hill) Departure to Tilcara. Surrounded by green trees and the mud brick-houses. Pucará de Tilcara - in aborigine language means fortress. It really used to be an omaguaca village (aborigines who inhabited this place during the 10th Century). Stop at Humahuaca city.
On the way back to Salta, short visit of San Salvador de Jujuy city.

Iguazu
Falls.

arrival
in
Iguazu,
the
group
will
be
transferred
to
the
Sheraton
International
Hotel. Visit one of the wonders of the world, located in the Northeast of Argentina: the Iguazu Falls National
Park. Consisting on 275 natural falls of breathtaking beauty, distributed along nearly 3 kilometers and surrounded by a dense forest of ferns, lianas, orchids, butterflies and 400 varieties of birds, in this natural area the
"yaguarete",
anteater,
ocelot
and
peccary all live
together.
The magnificent sequence of falls finds its peak at the "Garganta del
Diablo" (Devil's Throat), where Iguazu River crashes down almost 80 meters downwards, forming a multitude of rainbows. The Iguazu Falls have been declared
World Heritage by the UNESCO.

visit
the
Brazilian side
of

falls
crossing a bridge over

Iguazu

there

arrive at the falls where the passengers will have a panoramic view. To visit the the Brazilian side of the falls requires a
Brazilian
visa.
The Argentine side of the falls is
more
than
sufficiently
beautiful, but if you
want to travel to the Brazil side, one might get a visa from the Brazilian Embassy
or
a
visa
service
in the U.S. before leaving.
